The Brugger Dokumentarfilmtage offer an exciting programme that reflects the diversity of documentary storytelling, accompanied by a wide-ranging supporting programme with film discussions and culinary delights. The festival takes place every two years and the fourth edition is happening in autumn 2027.

The competition for young documentary filmmakers, which was launched in 2023, has become an integral part of the festival. Short films for the next edition can be submitted starting in summer 2026. 

The Brugger Dokumentarfilmtage will take place at the cinemas ODEON and Excelsior and at the Salzhaus Brugg.
